The Silver Fox Curling and Yacht Club is a non profit community complex, serving the community of Summerside and surrounding areas. The complex is a modern multi-purpose facility with a 6 sheet curling club, 80 plus berth yacht club/marina with a restaurant and bar, servicing its 500 members and the general public.
As General Manager, you will report to the Management Board with overall responsibility of the facility including human resources, marketing, public relations, operations, risk management, finances, programs and event management and policies.
As the ideal candidate, you have senior level experience in a related field such as recreation, facility management, sports administration, or community/government relations. Entrepreneurial by nature, you seek creative ways to grow revenue and have a proven track record of doing so.
You have high energy, enthusiasm with a drive to succeed, a practical blend of knowledge in financial, administrative, operational and multi-facility management which will enable you to quickly earn the confidence of customers, members and executives. Additionally, you possess well developed personal qualities including integrity, adaptability, communication and leadership skills, and have the ability to multi task. Experience in the management of a non profit multi use facility is an asset, although not an absolute requirement.
